The wires that shine within the lightbulb
They sing like a mermaid to the moths
A song that defines their misunderstanding
Because they never get to the light that they hope to know
When the nighttime finally takes over
And their song can no longer be heard or found
Well that's just what they will get
For making believe that nothing was wrong

Rhythmic meditations of the highest caliber. At times the measured, pounding drums recall those you'd find on a GAS record, surrounded by ghostly vocals and electronic curiosities. Really can't go wrong with the combo of Baker, Coloccia and Mueller on drums. I've always had a love for legends of this ritual sort of sound, like Muslimgauze, O' Yuki Conjugate, or Dead Can Dance. 'See Through' pays homage to them, while offering something very special and all its own. This music keeps me breathing. Lost Tribe Sound
A beautiful re-working of songs for a good cause. Stagger in particular hits me hard.
I have friends affected by the Ghost Ship tragedy as they're part of the DIY scene in Seattle. Across the various musicians I follow on IG there too I saw the reaction to the tragedy. I've been to these sorts of venues. I know what it's like. I know how unique and inspiring and welcoming they are. Truly a tragic loss for their community and DIY across the country. Dustin K
